Chifley
Candidate for Federal
The Greens
I'm a community worker and human rights, advocate. I’m from a multicultural community, which makes me a good fit as your Chifley candidate. I have lived in Western Sydney for more than 20 years. I have long experience of working closely with local communities, which gives me a good understanding of the needs and challenges that people here experience.
2021
Cumberland Council
Candidate for Council
The Greens
I’m running because the next Cumberland Council needs a Green voice. Together, we can ensure that Cumberland Council is ethical and listens to the voices of residents, protects green spaces and promotes sustainable development.
I’ve lived in the Cumberland Council area for over 18 years. I’m a community worker, a human rights advocate and a member of the Tamil community.
2017
Cumberland Council
Candidate for the Council
The Greens
As a Tamil, when I first came to Holroyd I was attracted by the vibrancy and diversity of the area. The suburbs of Wentworthville, Pendle Hill, Girraween and Toongabbie, where I live, are a fabulous mix of the cultures that have enriched Australia. Those words ‘from all the lands on Earth we come” really does describe our community. I have had a long involvement in refugee advocacy and this was recognised quite recently when the Australian Refugee Council awarded me the National Refugee Community Worker Award.
2015
Prospect

As the Greens candidate for Prospect, I have a vision for the electorate of Prospect, including world-class public transport, environmental protection, planning decisions returned to the community as well as ensuring our public services such as Fairfield Hospital and our public schools and TAFE are well funded
